Something I think Escape the Backrooms did amazingly really is the atmosphere. The sound, the general visuals, and the layout just make it really scary and spooky. The character models are certainly a bit janky and goofy, but it feels more like the developer chose to lean into the goofiness by not taking its designs too seriously, which I certainly don't mind. Funny enough, I feel like the minor bugs actually lean into the humor. Anything from the character models leaning back FAR more than they should to literally glitching throughout the level just makes me laugh more than anything else.

One thing you're forgetting is nightmare mode for people who want a very hard challenge You basically have to complete around 3 to 6 hours of gameplay without dying once

I had the full version of this game when I was a young girl and it was quite enjoyable; not quite as good as the game "Snowy, the bear's adventures."; some improvements to this game could have been you had to get the aliens home before Snowy's (your) oxygen ran out or before too much helium built up in Snowy's blood and there could have been space monsters not worth many points for killing but would penalise you massively point wise if you left them alive. They could also have had it that a "Perfect game' was you'd brought ALL the aliens home in ONE lot and get a whole lot of diamonds - worth 20 thousand points falling around you, a "Great game" where you brought the aliens home in two lots and have gold nuggets - worth 10 thousand points falling around you and a "Good game" where you brought the aliens home and have bronze ingots worth 1000 points each
